exchange resources, inc.

If you’re looking for a Qualified Intermediary Accommodator to handle your 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange; look no further…

What in the world? Was that English? I can assure you it is.

Being the best in the industry, Exchange Resources, Inc. (ERI), is a company that handles real estate tax deferred exchanges. Appointed with the task of creating informational videos, I showcase the power of Adobe After Effects.

Using corporate friendly type artwork, this video showcases a basic understanding of the 1031 Exchange process.

Planning

The brief was simple. Create a series of animated videos, showing the ins & outs of the entire 1031 Exchange process.

Exchanges are real estate related, so I had to keep the prompt professional and as detail oriented as possible. There’s a lot of information involved with the process, so naturally a series of videos was the way to go.

Being a former employee with this company, I knew most of the 1031 process. This was in an immense advantage in creating the videos.

Composition

The video shown above is one of many that were created. The video showcases the basic process of the entire 1031 Exchange.

As mentioned before, there is a lot of information, rules and regulations revolving the process

I knew I had to make a ton of assets, prior to animating the video. So, per usual, I jumped into Illustrator and began to work.

Final Rendition

Being a graphic designer, you get exposed to a lot of new methods and variations of design. This was one of them. It was a test of my vigor to venture into new design methods, as I had to learn After Effects while creating these videos.

Creating the assets prior to animation was key. I knew this would help me streamline the animation process. Simply enough, the videos are straightforward animations, whilst I explain the process.

All in all, it was a feat. However, I triumphed in the end. Have a look!
